RFC Goes 1st, 2nd, & 3rd at Home Tournament

The Rockland Fencers Club hosted a Senior Open Tournament on 9/23 and the RFC walked away with 3 top spots. Peter Shine, Ansel Bobrow, and Michael Kang all finished with a medal and worked hard throughout the day. Peter was able to overcome his two club mates to take the gold with a strong performance on the day.

Peter finished the pool round with 1 loss to Michael Kang and went on to win his next few bouts to make the final. In the final he met Ansel who won his semi-final bout by 1 touch in overtime. They were back forth for most of the bout but Peter was able to get the edge and the victory.
