Gabriel Watson of the RFC medals at National Competition

Big congratulations to Gabriel Watson who fenced at the North American Cup in Baltimore, Maryland over the weekend. Gabriel has been working hard with her coach Paul Kutelvas and her efforts were rewarded in Division III Womens Epee.

She went on to win 4 direct elimination bouts and beat the number 1 seeded fencer to advance into the later rounds. Gabriel eventually lost in the round of 8 in a close bout and finished the competition in 8th place and renewed her D2017.

We look forward to many more great results from Gabriel and all our fencers as the Summer Nationals approach.
