RFC Takes 3 Medals at Local & Regional Competitions.
It was a busy weekend for the RFC with multiple fencers fencing on both Saturday and Sunday. The RJCC for Cadet & Junior fencers was held at NJFA in Maplewood NJ and serves as one of the major Regional tournaments in the area. Liam Landau went 4-1 in pools and went on to win his next 3 DE's before losing by 1 touch to the eventual winner. Liam took 6th place which should qualify him for the July Challenge at Summer Nationals this Summer.
Also in competition this wknd were the Bobrow brothers Logan & Silas who competed at the Fencers Club in NYC. Logan competed in Y12 Foil and went undefeated in pools and continued his winning streak all the way to the finals where he finished in second place.
Silas also competed at the fencers club and took 6th in Y8 Foil. Silas went undefeated in pools and won his first DE before losing his next DE by 1 touch.
